She ends up discovering that a systematic California power company is polluting city waters which will threaten the health of the entire community. Her Oscar-winning performance makes us believe that even women can do better in a field dominated by men.

But how can we forget the original, Chicago- the hit Broadway musical showing a group of women who find themselves behind bars after committing cold-blooded murders? The story revolves around Roxy and Velma who have committed crimes. Both soon realize that their poor story could bring them fame and by the end of the movie, we see them battling neck-to-neck over who can win greater fame through the headlines.
Inspired by true events, Changeling is the story of a woman who is driven to challenge Prohibition-era Los Angeles police force at every turn, after her son is abducted, and retrieved. She suspects that the boy who has returned is not her son and is unable to accept the injustice pushed upon her. When the grief-stricken mother seeks helps, she finds herself put in the asylum. The movie portrays a very strong woman character who challenges the whole system.

The multiple Oscar-winning movie stars Jodie Foster as an FBI agent. She is given an investigation work on a murderer nicknamed Buffalo Bill, who kills young women and then removes the skin from their bodies. Jodie is brought into work with Dr. Hannibal a brilliant psychiatrist who is also a violent psychopath and serving his life behind the bars. The movie is worth watching if you have a strong heart.

She is smart, brave and stunning. Lara Croft is a British aristocrat who is living a dual life, as an acquirer of lost antiquities and groomer at schools for the children of the elite. Angelina Jolie has very well played the role of a highly trained combat skill person. A video game was also launched based on this big budget adventure-drama starring Angelina Jolie as a buxom heroine recalling equal parts Indiana Jones and James Bond.
2. MISS CONGENIALITY
Golden globe nominee Sandra Bullock stars in this comedy movie as Gracie, an FBI agent. Duty bound Gracie goes undercover as a beauty contestant to put an end to the efforts of a serial killer, threatening to blow up the Miss USA Pageant. He is expected to appear in the contest and now Gracie has to learn to be a lady, to go undercover as a contestant.
1. MILLION DOLLAR BABY
Many women-boxing oriented movies have been released in the past few years. Million Dollar Baby is one of them. The story revolves around a veteran boxing trainer named Frankie Dunn who has devoted his life to boxing. One day a woman enters his life, determined to fight. But he refuses to train her because he thinks boxing is not fit for women. It is interesting to see how the story moves forward and Frankie helps the woman achieve her goal.
